The past couple of days have been spent trawling around the Fringe festival in dress shoes and knackered vans(seriously I've had these trainers for over a year now, they're starting to fall apart at the seems). In all we had a lot of fun and encountered a vast amount of friendly people. We were scheduled to see Russell Brand perform, but he canceled, this luckily deflected us into the path of Matt Kirshen, who was a hilarious stand up and put on a great gig, His rants about 3mobile and giving everyone in the audience an ice lolly will be remembered for a long time. Sadly we also missed the one man star wars show, but did see, somewhat famous Simon Astell walk-by, Being in the city and soaking up the warm atmosphere was great in istelf.
Returning to Glasgow yesterday to catch a connecting train was depressing. Glasgow seems a lazy and dead city compared to Edinburgh in the summer.
Apparently also, I "need" to get my hair cut for going to the states, oh-uh.
I've got a few things planned but apart from that my year is looking is pretty bare....
ohh noz! I'm hungrier then a hungry hippo, so off to make a sandwich.
